In a shutout game, U14 ICE SPIRIT beat Lynx JV 4 - zip at Capitol Ice - Rink A on Saturday. U14 ICE SPIRIT racked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. U14 ICE SPIRIT gained two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. The U14 ICE SPIRIT defense took over in the final period. In the final period U14 ICE SPIRIT scored one goal sealing the deal and winning the game.

This was the season opener for Lynx JV.
